Internal Medicine Services

Like people, animals can develop a variety of illnesses requiring the skilled expertise of a knowledgeable, board-certified internal medicine specialist. The Internal Medicine Service at the Veterinary Specialty Center of Tucson is led by Dr. Polina Vishkautsan. She is recognized for her expertise in the field of diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the cardiac, respiratory, gastrointestinal, urogenital, endocrine and hematologic systems.

The Internal Medicine team works closely with your family veterinarian to diagnose perplexing problems, then establish a specific diagnosis and treatment plan. In addition, our entire team of board-certified specialists in various disciplines routinely collaborates on challenging cases to ensure the most comprehensive care.
